After a detailed analysis and research on the forums and the Microsoft blogs, I came across the kb artice: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=946517
Also we did install a hot fix since we had a open ticket for this issue with Microsoft. After applying the hot fix (supposed to be realted to IIS )we were able to fix the errors which occurred every otther minute in the application log.
